Geus is an automatic system with a higher output that is designed for filling and sealing of metal, plastic or laminate tubes. Sealing of tubes is done by folding (metal tube) or welding by means of hot air (plastic or laminate tube).
The system is designed for filling liquid, cream and paste products. It uses a volumetric dosing system (optionally also an external dosing pump). With the help of the automatic hopper, the tubes are automatically loaded and oriented according to the orientation mark. The sealing jaws are equipped with interchangeable characters for marking the date or code. For plastic and laminated tubes, the machine is equipped with a cutting unit which ensures a perfect appearance of the weld.
In addition to the systems designed specifically for metal (Geus K) and plastic/laminated (Geus P) tubes, a model combining both types of tubes (Geus PK) is also available. The assortment also includes a system variant that is designed for environments with a risk of explosion, which is for example suitable for filling adhesives.
The advantages of the system include a quick replacement of format parts, easy disassembly and cleanability of the filling part. The system also allows for an easy conversion from the system meant for plastic tubes to the metal one and vice versa.
