Description
The automatic rotary capping machine Hermes 1M is designed for capping various types of smaller containers with screw or snap-on closures.
Containers are fed from a conveyor into a stepped rotary mechanism (star wheel) and moved under the capping station, where the cap is supplied using a "pick and place" device. This device moves the closure into the capping head and the container is thus closed. Among frequently chosen accessories is closure presence control with the possibility of connection to a rejection mechanism.
The machine can be equipped with various types of orientators according to the type and size of the cap:
- discharge conveyor,
- rotary orientator,
- vibratory orientator.
For replenishing caps into the orientator, a cap hopper with discharge conveyor can be supplied.
