Description
The automatic rotary capping machine Hermes 3M and 4M is designed for capping various types of smaller containers with screw or snap-on closures.
Higher machine performance is achieved with a larger number of tightening heads (3 or 4) and continuous movement of containers without stopping during tightening. Containers are sorted by an input auger to required spacings before entering the machine. Subsequently they pass through the input star wheel to the central star wheel, where closure application and tightening takes place. The output star wheel transfers the closed containers to the output conveyor.
The machine is usually equipped with a rotary cap orientator. For replenishing caps into the orientator, a cap hopper with discharge conveyor can be supplied.
