Description

Polaris FM is a linear filling machine with dose measurement using flowmeters. Flowmeters are characterized by very high reliability, minimal maintenance costs and long service life. Depending on the type of product being filled, we use mass or magnetic flowmeters.

Magnetic flowmeters are designed for products with conductivity higher than 12µS (cleaning agents, body soaps, shampoos, ketchups...).

Mass flowmeters measure the weight of the filled product, thereby eliminating the effect of temperature on the measured dose. At different filling temperatures, the weight does not change. Mass flowmeters are used for filling non-conductive (distilled water, oil...) and flammable (thinner, alcohol...) products.

The machine is equipped according to the required performance with 2 to 16 flowmeters (2 FM, 4 FM.....16 FM). The dose is set using a touch screen. Each product and container can have its own saved recipe. Parameters stored in the recipe include – filled volume, filling speed, filling from the bottom or from the neck, nozzle immersion during filling, filling nozzle movement speed, etc.

The machine is standardly equipped with pneumatic closing of nozzles and bottom-up filling.
