Hermes 1M
Description
The Hermes 1M is a one-head automatic rotary capping system that is designed to cap various types of smaller bottles with screw and/or press-on caps.
The bottles are fed from the conveyor to a indexing mechanism (rosette) and moved under the capping station, where the cap is fed by means of a pick and place device. This device moves the cap into the capping head and the container is closed. A frequently chosen accessory is the cap presence control which can be connected to the reject system.
Depending on the type and size of caps, the system can be equipped with different types of sorters:
- water fall system (cap elevator),
- rotary orientation system,
- vibratory bowl.
A cap hopper with elevator can be supplied to refill the lids in the sorter.
